Chinese exports rose 17.6 percent year on year in the first half of 2026. But a buyer does not source from a country. Goods come out of specific corridors, and the corridor decides cost, minimum order, lead time and how fast a sample can be changed. The Pearl River Delta is furniture, ceramic tile, sanitaryware, building hardware and lighting. The Yangtze River Delta is household small appliances, hardware tools and garden machinery, and general merchandise at the lowest minimums in the country. The inland corridors run by rail to Central Asia and Europe, and carry vehicle parts and single-category specialities.
